Creating a plastic free town
We're big supporters of our local plastic free movement - Plastic Free Eastbourne:
www.plasticfreeeastbourne.co.uk
As a business we're now doing everything we can to support their goal of a plastic free town.
We have 3 strategies we're employing to support the plastic free initiative.
- Provide recycling capabilities not provided by the local council. These include:
- Reworked bin for medicinal blister packs at 104 firle road and St Andrews Church
- Reworked bin for PPE at 104 firle road
- Reworked bin for bio plastic at 104 firle road
- Reworked bin for mixed plastics at 104 firle road
- Probiotic cleaners for surfaces and floors - sustainable, vegan and long lasting cleaners
- Plastic free Evie Blue solutions in compostable sachets
- Hand soap and washing up liquid refills - all 5ltr bottles are re-used making this a plastic free circular economy
- Bamboo bobbi toilet roll, the most eco, lowest carbon toilet roll available
In the background we're also looking to grow the above propositions to make our town more sustainable, more products, more options, less environmental impact!
We do however need your help - why not recommend us to your workplace? We can make your company plastic free whilst also saving money - its a win for us, a win for you and a win for the environment!
